Good looking birds.

I used to have a yellow front amazon, talked way too much, knew tons of tricks, and went everywhere with me riding on my shoulder. When I got busy at work putting in 70hr weeks, he flipped out and drove the family nuts screaming all the time. I finally had to sell him, was a sad day. Birds want lots of attention. lol

I had an Umbrella Cockatoo for 5 years and I gave her to my dad when I had to move... He didn't give her enough attention and drove him crazy so he ended up selling her after 3 months. I got a picture of her somewhere will have to look for it.

I had 2 conure nandays (small green birds in the parrot family) for many years.

then they figured out how to open the window
I heard them outside for a couple weeks lol

That's pretty sad slevin :/ sadly cockatoos are the #1 bord that end up at rescues. Some people don't know what they are getting into. Some don't do research first. Some get "stick with it and have families or work situations.

Its like having a 5 yr old child with a.d.d for life and then some. I gibe none like 4 Hrs a day if not more of hardcore attention and its barely enough. They always want more. They're flock animals and super special. Its like a 13 year old girl at high school trying to be popular and never shutting up.

I never liked boards I just got stuck with em and bow I can't live without them . My gf gets jealous all the time. But it is what it is

Yeah and you have to keep giving them the same level of attention... Was a pain I dealt with myself. When I moved I couldn't take her with me, which is what lead to what I said earlier.
