| No problem Jones , we are glad you like VGE but i have been asked to mention to you about certain aspects of your game play . Please dont be offended when i say (as we accept that as a youngster we were all probably a bit loud) , could you tone it down a little please . A vast number of players on this game are getting on a bit in years lol and find your 'caps shouting ' and some of the attitude you have in chat channels etc a bit frustrating . Maybe we just wish we was young again , i dunno lol . But you are a valued member and we hope you can try and see if you can do this for us . PS. We dont expect you to stop being you | |

| Yes .. some of your goofing around in market is also wearing down some of us. This guild even though large, is actually very lowkey. So things like STFU in market isn't acceptable. If you get in arguements, take the high road. I know very hard to do at ANY age, but after st3 and st4 we are a little sick of server drama (for those of you been here long enough... remember von's war vs papasmurf.. arggg.)
One REALLY good place if you want to goof and vent is right here on the guild forums. Only a few guildies will see it. |

| what you need to keep in mind is what you do in general chat or anywhere else reflects back on the guild as a whole. you are not a gm or a dev and how you act in those channels reflects back on the guild as well.

| I realize I am a bit new to the guild still, but I'd like to share something... From what I understand, this was a simple misunderstanding. I am not aiming this at anyone. Something I realized early on is that my general perception of people in public should be "business polite." In that if someone is cordial and says hi, indeed respond as so. But often people don't expect it when you are polite first with a simple hello, or how are ya! In dealings between people that are not necessarily in the familiar, I also adopt this mentality as a way of being. Being a rather large person my entire life, I find it often surprises people in a positive way. Personally I can take you as you are, -directly. All of my friends should always feel free to speak their mind to me (I very am particular about who I call friend, but that is another story). I am this way with my friends in RL and online. What many people online tend to forget is that there is a lot of missed intentions sent with alternate interpretations. Sometimes its best to flavor a comment with a little flare to get your meaning across. There maybe lot of miscommunication in translation to someone else not understanding the intent of your message. In a nutshell, always take the extra step to be polite in RL and online. Like good handwriting, it seems to quickly becoming a dieing art form, as is the golden rule. Thanks for reading. | |
