The ENB Classic team regrets to inform the community that due to circumstances beyond out control AF_Vet aka Tom will not longer be a member of the team.

We wish him well in his endeavors and his life.

Now, what this means to the community is that we will be moving the play server soon and there may be some downtime. However, the project will continue. The current project manager is Marco and we will be posting a staff list just as soon as we get it all hammered out for titles that will give you more indication as to what we do.

All donations should be through this site if you intend it to go to the project. There has been some talk that AF_Vet is asking for donations after he left the project. We are not trying to spread rumors but we do want to make sure and protect our community as best we can. We can assure you the donations that have been received so far have gone to buy IP Board (you're lookin at it), pay for the web hoster for IP Board and Bugzilla (again you're lookin at it), a hoster for team collaboration software (I'm sorry you may not see this but we will somehow get screenshots or something so you can see it) and the Paypal Donation Tracker (again you're lookin at it). There is some donation money left that will be going toward the new play server location.

We will be trying to recover the server that was donated as well as any money donated to the Paypal account that AF_Vet setup and refused to give anyone else access to. Unfortunately at this time all we can do is apologize to those individuals that their donations may not be used in the way they intended and make the guarantee that any further donations as long as they are made through this site or with the knowledge of Marco or myself will go to exactly what the donator intends.

We will no longer be using the Ventrillo which was setup by AF_Vet. However, there will be a dedicated Team Speak server up and running very very shortly (as in it's already set up it just needs some tweeks).

There is currently an IRC channel setup you can connect to it with a client such as mIRC [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] or any client you wish that handles IRC connections. The information is:

i warned people wayyy back in 2007 but no one would listen to me then....

The situation about the loss of a team member.

I apologize that getting this information to the community has taken so long and hope that the community understands the decision to remove AF_Vet from the team was not made overnight.

I am not posting this information to damage AF_Vet's reputation but unfortunately there is no other way to convey the information truthfully to the community. I will try to keep things short to the point and without opinion. The obvious is that everything listed below is fact and not anyone's opinion.

First off, AF_Vet was not the "sole founder" of this project. Both him and I were the founders of this project and as agreed on by both of us were to be equal leaders.

Over the past two to three weeks the staff has been concerned since AF_Vet was displaying a behavior that was inappropriate for a Staff Member.

The big issues that have sealed AF_Vet's status as being removed from this project were as follows:

- The sexist remarks to our female staff member
- Refusal to give the account details for the donation PayPal account. He informed the staff the donations PayPal account was tied to his personal bank account. When AF_Vet and I agreed to start this project all finances were to be accessible by AF_Vet and myself. I asked him for the PayPal information at least 7 times.
- AF_Vet made personal threats to the staff, lied to Staff members and the community.


We as a team have been debating on how to handle this situation, before making a forum post about it.

I tried many times to compromise with him, and mend the situation. Sadly, it ended with him threatening to sue me and place me in jail because I used the funds on this project, and did not hand the funds to him after I received them. I used the funds to purchase a specific application (IP.Board) for the project. What it all came down to was the money. He refused to give me the PayPal account details, so i was unable to attach that account to our PayPal Donation Tracker. The staff concluded that we should use a different account in the meantime till we could straighten it out with Vet or setup a joint account to protect the Donator's money.

Instead of trying to work this out, AF_Vet said he quit, and "you're in charge" to me in a Skype conference. I wanted to allow him a chance to "Save face" and exit quietly since he decided to go pursue his original interest of making an emulator for Tabula Rasa. I was accused by Vet later of stealing the Donations to this project and he wanted to remove me from the project. This was after he quit the project. He claims that the last two Donators on the forums wanted to retract their donations. I have spoken with one of the Donators who is not interested in retracting his donation and have tried to contact the other. I have seen no message from anyone who has donated, saying that they wanted their donation back. Instead I have had a Donator who's money went into the account AF_Vet is in control of mention to me about wanting to recover his donation from AF_Vet.

To clear up another misconception that was spread, AF_Vet has not been banned from these Forums. He did ban some of our staff from the play server so that we could not login and play. To my knowledge AF_Vet no longer has access to the play server. The individual who is hosting the donated box has expressed that he feels the person who originally donated the server should decide it's eventual fate and we agree with this point of view. He will hold onto the box that was donated until the Donator can be contacted.

We as a Team are now past this incident. We are moving forward with this project. There will be some changes that might be viewed as good, or bad, but we will do our best to deliver the goal that we promised. To Finish this Project!

Over the course of the next two weeks, we will be releasing information on what we are going to be doing, as well as where we are right now. First order of business is for us to hook up a dedicated play server for the community in the event the donated one is no longer available to us.

It is very late, and it has been a long week for the Team. Now that more of the community communications and team communications are starting to come online I will look forward to talking to everyone and getting this project off and running the way it should be.
