New Net-7 Servers info

They just installed new servers, and they are up!

If you are having issues getting in, on the launcher where it says "play.net-7.org" change the play to sunrise, and you should be able to login.

I've been trying to login to sunrise and play servers.... no luck Doh !

Von the server is back up now.

I can't seem to be able to log in... I changed it to sunrise.net-7.org, and all I get is offline.

If you can't connect or you see 0 people online, you're having a DNS problem. For the next few days, connect directly to "87.106.131.253" and you should be able to get in.

I still can't log in yet ....hope they resolve this soon

The server has been up all day. Recently it booted almost everyone off, but still shows over 100 online.

Okay.. they just patched 320 this morning. Sunrise is now the default and there is a new button for Lock Port in the Debug area. HOWEVER none of this has helped the server stability. I took turret from f-7 to Somer to Fen on a trade run. 34 CTDs including 7 in Fen trying to get to/vendor my items.

Even more oddly to note... during two of my log in attempts. One I came up as Kjerops and 20 minutes later I came up as Bellshade (yes I was guild leader for 10 sec then CTD again!)... BTW your toon might be in fenris station now as that is where the bugged/swapped log in had me docking.

Yes bug reports were submited, I told people in market including Lan and Kjero so he didn't freak out about somebody hacking his account. Oddly it was 2 people that I knew not just some random schmo. So all please try to log in until one of us gets Ranko LOL... J/K

yes... ive had strangness as well...

I actually logged into another person's acct for about 5 seconds... Some warrant officer from static it turns out...

Cdel is aware of the issue, so im guessing it'll be fixxed shortly.


This is a stress test after all, and we're here to break stuff... so lets all do our part, eh?... lol

Now I know why they were all lurking the game and forums after the move. They really didn't know all the stuff that could break doing it.

I understand dns issues moving to a different server, but stuff like logins to incorrect accts should never have happened considering it's just a copy/paste type thing. I mean, how does the database get corrupted just transferring from one machine to another?

Looks like it may be time for another wipe coming if they can't get it resolved quick.

Slight update....

Couple hours ago they did a restart, whatever they did seems to have fixed the problem for the most part.
I'm able to login both accts, and the problem one with je never ctd till I had logged him off.

Ok, so today they are having DNS problems, here is a workaround posted by Kyp on emu forums.

when i try to open net-7 i get unhandled execption error and failed to initilize

the emu forums and net-7 portal is down as well
